As the camera comes to life Ace is
sitting comfortably in his executive chair, but unlike his normal promos
his posture is of course perfect. A tug at his tie, and then his glance
focuses on the camera as he peers into it as if looking to everyone out
there watching, focusing that cool glare of his. Ace: "To start off tonight, I went out and bought a little something. Shadow, I mean . . wait, that's right, you're 'The Trine' now, I know you're obviously going through a time of change, so I bought you something. Here you go." Ace reaches down beside his desk, and lifts it up, it's a black t-shirt which he holds up before himself, displaying it for the camera. The shirt reads, 'I used to be crazy, but we're fine now.' Ace: "Feel free to come get the shirt whenever you want it, it will be in my office. I'll be expecting you." A momentary tug at the ends of his lips betrays the beginnings of a grin that fades away quickly. Ace: "Now to really get the show underway, Stevie Corah, yes, I've featured you on the show previously, but you've done a number of things that have brought you back. First thing that comes to mind, is your repeated trips back to the "Island", I think this betrays a number of things. The first that you have a father complex, and perhaps that as a part causes you to be inable to focus on issues without constantly heading back to your "safe place". Don't worry, this is a very documented condition, at least you're not at a the point yet where you can never leave the island because you immediately become so insecure and struck by fear that you cannot think clearly. No, you just get that feeling whenever you have any sort of hurdle in your life to overcome, you immediately retreat, trying to hide away. Stevie . . Get Over It! If you do not have enough faith in your own abilities, and must constantly seek a way to bolster your confidence, you shall never come to hold that title you so dearly want. Which brings me to another point, one that I in part already mentioned before. Your drive for the title is robbing you of your peripheral vision, you see nothing but that gold before you, and think that the only way you can come to hold it is right ahead of you. Failing to see the other paths that lead to it, you rush on headlong and just run right into walls that you did not know you could have easily stepped around. You might even have had your match for the title on Edge, doubtful, but it's possible. Of course, your way has indeed worked, but to what end? You have to face Atomic Punk, not many people know, but I was in the same federation with her a number of years ago. She was insane then, and current developments prove little difference. You're placing yourself in undue agony, an unnecessary contest, where your blind drive shall come to crash with another's. It should be . . interesting, but still . . . unnecessary. Get Over It Corah, and take off your blinders, you're no horse in the races, and I sure hope you don't have a jockey riding on your back, that is not a pleasant thought. You're the only one guiding yourself, and before long, you'll lead yourself to ruin." Ace: "Rather than commenting on someone else, I would like to take this time to express an open invitation. Now that Get Over It is an official segment, I thought I would give the rest of the roster a chance to come on. Just what will happen when you come onto my show? Well, sufficed to say it will not be your average interview. I will give you your chance to say whatever it is you wish, if you do have something you wish to vent. You might actually call this more of an experiment, and no, I will not accept you if you are the first one to ask to be on my show. I will instead look through everyone who asks to come on, and choose who I think would be the most . . amusing, and then ask them to join me. You do not need to worry about my lashing out at you, I have no temper nor anger to speak of and will not end up say . . laying someone out with a left hook for instance. Regardless of whether you are to attempt to instigate the confrontation or not. I am not so rash, nor will any such behavior garner you anything but looking foolish in the face of fans worldwide, but then again, if you have the intention of acting in such a manner, chances are they already believe you a fool. Moving right along, some of you might be worried as to whether I will target you should you come on my show. Tell you to . . 'Get Over It', if you have to ask this question, then there is likely some issue that you could use hearing just that for. If after hearing my not so brief explanation you are interested in appearing on my segment, then you may come to my office at anytime and present yourself." A grin had been holding on his features, but then it slips away for that serious mask to return to his features, that icy glare back in full form. Ace: "Actually, I've changed my mind. I do have one other person that bears mention. Behemoth. Behemoth, you are in truth just what your name implies, and you take pride in your size, infact I am quite sure you really enjoy the power that you have. As a result, you fear anything that would shake the little balance you have. Especially women, who I am sure to your fragile psyche should be frail and quivering, worried about making a man such as you angry. You fear anything beyond that, you are afraid of a woman with power, with strength. It changes your view on the world, makes you feel a little small even perhaps, and you hate that. You're a big man, and that's all you have going for you. Most people like you do not have much luck with women either, not any real women at least. Perhaps the reason you shun women so is because you were hurt by one, she shunned you, likely because you're not quite as . . big a man as you'd like to be. Now you make up for that by shunning women. Women have equal standing in society, and have for quite a number of decades. They have just as much right to go out into that ring and destroy their bodies as we do. They also have the potential to be just as good at it as we are, they might have to work a bit harder for it, but they are capable. I know for a fact that there are a number who could put you on your back, Behemoth. That goes back to your fear though, the loss of power, the loss of control. The battle you're fighting was over a long time ago, Get Over It." Ace: "Well, honestly that is all we have time for today. Until next time, if you don't like what I have to say, then you can . . Get Over It." With that the camera switches focus to the nameplate on his desk, zooming in until it's all that can be seen. Then the scene just fades out to black. |
