These are the rules for the SWA.  Failure to follow these rules could result in your contract being terminated and you being removed from the fed.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

Please submit original characters only!

No two characters can use the same base or music.  Check to make sure your music and base aren’t taken before submitting a join form.  Our listing of taken music and bases can be found on the join form page.

Wins in this fed are based on both RP skills and angles.  Some losses are needed for angles but they will be discussed first.  Brandon and I post notes after every card, along with anyone else who judges a match after that card is posted.  If you are unhappy with your loss, please contact Brandon or myself privately through messengers or private message on the boards.  If you are found to be complaining to others on the roster without contacting us by any of the methods mentioned you will be removed from the fed.

Deadline for shows is Tuesday at 9pm Eastern for Aggression and Friday at 9pm Eastern for Edge / Pay Per View events.  There is a grey area of 8pm Eastern on day of deadline.  If you post your first rp after 8pm Eastern, you will be docked for sandbagging or rping last minute. 

Card announcements for the following show will be made after the shows are posted on Wednesday ( Aggression ) and Sunday ( Edge / PPV ).  It is up to you to check the news boards for the press release or the card announcement forums.  I will not hound you to go see if you have a match.  I will email the whole mailing list to let them know that results have been posted and the card for the next week has been announced but that’s it.

Please do not bring OOC issues into character.  Discuss them with me first.

If you need to take a break from the SWA for any reason, please contact either myself or Brandon and we will put you on the inactive list until you are ready to return.  If you fail to do so, you will be emailed once.  Failure to answer the email could result in you being moved to the AWOL roster. If after two months we have not heard from you, you will be moved to the fired and released roster. Please take note that if you are moved to the fired and release roster, the SWA will not hold your pic base or your theme so you may have to change them if you come back and if you have a good reason for why you were gone.

If you retire or leave the SWA with an indefinite return date that has not been discussed with me, you will also be moved to the fired and released roster. The same rule applies. Your base and theme will not be held and if you choose to come back you may have to change them.

There is a 3 RP MAXIMUM in the SWA.  Please keep in mind that it is QUALITY vs. QUANTITY here and be sure that your roleplays are well thought out rather than thrown together at the spur of the moment.  If you fail to rp, you will lose.  Please also keep in mind the grey area mentioned earlier.  If you need an extension, I can provide one up to 11pm eastern on day of deadline.  However, you must convince me that the situation was out of your control and not just because you went to a movie with friends or out for a drink.

Character development roleplays DO NOT count towards your match and belong in the character development forum.  Use of character development in match rp is fine as long as you address your match.

If you do not roleplay for your first match here, you will be given a last chance match.  If you fail to roleplay for your last chance match you will be released.  If you do roleplay for your debut, you will be put on the active roster.  From then on if you do not rp for three matches, you will be moved to the inactive roster and emailed.  Failure to respond to the email could result in you being removed from the roster completely.  The same return method mentioned earlier is applicable here as well.  If you do this more than once, you will not be accepted ever again.

The SWA is uncensored.  Please do not use this to be rude or disrespectful.  This is to be in character only.  Be prepared to deal with the backlash as well if you choose to be racist, sexist or disrespectful of anyone’s sexual preference in your roleplays.  However, on any of the out of character boards this is not tolerated.  If you do so, you will be suspended for two weeks.  If you continue to do it, you will be removed from the fed.

There are blind players in the SWA.  With that said, their screen reading software that they use to read text does not tell them what pictures are.  They just simply say “Graphic”.  If you plan to use pictures in your roleplays, please leave a little caption underneath them describing what they are.  Or if you’re an advanced HTML user, add the description as an alt tag.  If your roleplays are graphical like a comic strip or something similar, I ask that it be transcribed.  Failure to do this by RP deadline will result in your rp not counting!

Audio promos are allowed in the SWA.  If you do not have a way to listen to them then you need to get a way.  Headphones are pretty cheap and usually people always have a pair laying around.  If you absolutely cannot get a way to listen to them then you can private message the player and ask them to transcribe it for you.  However, it's up to their discretion this is not a situation like with the blind users.  If they're deaf that's another deal and the player will have to transcribe the promo.  Do not abuse that loophole and just tell people you're deaf because you're too lazy to go to the store and buy a cheap pair of headphones or you just simply don't want to listen.

If you are picky about how your character is portrayed by the card writers, please fill out a strat form.  Strat forms are optional and are due at RP deadline.

No player may attack / use another in a roleplay without the consent of the player being attacked / used.  For shows, you can send in a show form but the attack will be decided based on a coin flip unless the outcome is agreed to by all involved.

The SWA Xtreme championship is 24/7 except for when the champion has a match.  If he has a match with the title on the line, he cannot be attacked before or during the match.  After the bell is rung declaring the match over, the 24/7 rule is back into effect.  Attacks on the Xtreme champion are treated just as normal attacks are which is by coin flip.

In this fed, the owner and VP do roleplay and compete as need be and we don’t just play to put people over all the time.  Simple fact is, we want to play too.  Now with that said, we don’t decide our own matches.  Someone else on the roster does.  If you don’t like this then don’t sign up, it’s as simple as that.  Everyone else doesn’t mind at all.

If a change to your profile needs to be made, please fill out a change form.

If you would like to start a stable, please fill out a stable form ( You have to have 3 or more people ).  The same goes for tag teams ( Two people ).

Tag teams are allowed 3 roleplays.  Three per character if each of you want to go it alone.  3 together as a unit or a combination.  If a member fails to rp, you can carry them to a win after all it is quality vs. quantity here.  However, that will be reflected in the results.

If you have a storyline idea or a twist you would like to have happen to your own storyline, please send an email or contact us after you get the consent of the other characters involved.

Do NOT contact card writers directly about what you want in your match.  Please fill out a show form.

If you’re refereeing a match, then submit a strat as to how your character will act.  If you’re commentating, let us know and we will give the writer your contact info so that he / she can work with you.

If I forget a posted show form, please let me know.  We’ll find some way to work around it or if it’s a promo or misspelling, I will go in and add / fix it.  With everything I have to do for the fed and cards being rushed sometimes, things like this can happen.

Card writing assignments will be sent out shortly after deadline.  We try to get the card up as fast as possible.  Please don’t badger us about when the card is going to be posted.
