Rock you Like a Hurricane begins to play, its guitar standing out as the only sound we hear at first. At the same time, the unplugged logo appears on the screen, flashing to the beat. It moves double-time as the second guitar joins in, and as the song really picks up, it expands outward. Inside it, we see clips of SWA superstars battling it out in all types of matches. This lasts until the pause just before the vocals, when the logo shrinks once again, and morphs into the SWA logo. We then transition to a studio, where trainer Jackson Farnsworth sits behind a desk. Smiling at the camera, he begins to speak. Jackson: Hello and welcome to edition eleven of Unplugged! Wow we certainly had a great time on our last edition, not to mention at Infected. Which by the way I feel I should apologize to the NFB Representative as he hardly seemed to have a good time at the event. But here we are now and we’ve got a great show for you tonight! We’ve got our resident religious crazy man, Judas Iscariot taking on our new acquisition AJ Angel. Lexi Anderson steps into the ring with Roxy Lang, Russell Brown makes his STC debut against our other AJ, AJ Smith, and finally we’ve got perhaps our biggest main event so far as Mark Ventor teams up with Those Eighties Guys to take on the three man team of Arik Taylor, Damien Stivers and Senor Evan ‘Lightning’ Montez! So stay tuned because we’ve got one hell of a time for you all, and quite a way to kick it off, too. We saw our first appearance of the guy who's running the joint now, Russell Brown. He came to the ring before the first match, and he had some interesting things to say. Suddenly, Frontline by Pillar begins to slam on the PA. Russell Brown steps foot from behind the curtain and stands at the top looking down at Judas Iscariot. He is wearing a business suit and has a microphone in hand. Russell Brown: Problems. We all have them. I have one with one individual, that individual being you Judas Iscariot. I heard your comments toward AJ Angel this week and because of you thinking less of her, because of you not wanting to stop foot in the ring with a girl well guess what. Next week you get to go through the gauntlet. You're going to face off against three women of my choosing, one right after the other. I don't care if you lose to every girl or beat every girl, I just want to make sure you get the idea that the women in this business deserve just as much respect as the men and you well you deserve a beating and I'm sure your three opponents for next week will do just that. With that being said the music comes back on and Russell exits with a smirk on his face. Jackson: Russell then left the ring, and we had our first match. A graphic appears, showing Judas Iscariot and AJ Angel. We then see clips of the match as Jackson continues to speak. Jackson: We’re getting right into the action here tonight as Judas took on AJ Angel. Just like the time leading up to this match we saw a lot of good back and forth between these two superstars. In the end Judas managed to prevail, picking up a very close victory over AJ. I tell you this was one right down to the wire but I think AJ’s overconfidence was what landed her into trouble by the end. Judas managed to get the upper hand and made a huge impact here tonight. I think anyone could say that AJ is perhaps one of the most outspoken members on the STC roster, especially since this was indeed her first match but we’ll see if this loss has phased or fueled her in the upcoming weeks! There is a brief, transitional graphic, and then another showing Lexi Anderson and Roxy Lang, followed again by clips. Jackson: What an explosive match this was, Lexi versus Roxy and it was clear that neither of these two women where pulling any punches, or kicks for that matter. For everyone on the STC roster watching out there, this here is how you make a good solid match. Both women had their heads in the game and it seemed that each was out to prove something. Lexi seemed to have the upper hand for a while there but then her luck turned as Roxy caught her with a pretty rough looking dropkick to the knee. From there it was all Roxy’s game and she walked out of there with her arm raised and a victory to her name. Well, OK, she didn't walk out of there. STC newcomer AJ came from the back, and bam! Roxy goes down from a lead pipe right to the head. Lexi received the same treatment, but was then dragged away. What happened to her we don't know, but given AJ's, uh, tastes, I don't think it was good. On the lighter side of things, we had a bit of a humorous note before our next match. Take a look. The scene opens on Russell Browns locker-room door. In front of it stands the bread zombie. He just raises his hand jerky to knock, as the door smashes open right into his face. Russell pushes the door open with force, forcing the Bread Zombie out of the way. Russel: Get out of the way freak. I have a match! He finally manages to open the door wide enough to slip through and without a glance back, heads to the ring. The bread zombie stands there and moans after him. Cuts back to Jackson. Jackson: Certainly strange, but that wouldn't be all we'd see of our resident doughboy. First, though... Another transition, and we see another graphic which shows Russell Brown and AJ Smith. Jackson: What a strong showing we had here between a new comer and our new head of the STC. Russell Brown was a man on a mission, showing his dominance in his newly acquired show. Maybe we can get him on here next week as our interview guest, but I’m sure AJ Smith would be just as interesting as well. This mystery force by AJ just wasn’t enough to put a stop to the rampaging Russell. He may have his ups and downs but he really showed everyone out there just how dangerous he can be out in that ring as he picked up his first win here in the STC. Sadly, his celebration would be short lived, as we would then see this. Russell comes to his locker-room. He stops and stares at what he sees standing before his door. The bread zombie in a old and torn business suit. He holds a coffee and a bunch of papers in his hands. He extends the coffee to Russell. The jerky move letting half the coffee splatter to the ground. Bread Zombie: Me..Bread..Zombie..assisstent...me...you..brought..coffee...sir. The Bread Zombie stands there holding out the coffee moaning in something like a friendly fashion. Russell just stands there and looks really confused at it and the coffee it holds. Scene Cuts back to Jackson. Jackson: Yeah. The Bread Zombie has to be one of the strangest characters around here, no doubt about it. No idea what Russell did after that, but something else did happen. An attack, to be exact. We're gonna show you the whole thing. Why? Because this rivalry cannot be passed up. The camera cuts to the back. We see Azriel just coming out of his locker-room. Suddenly Judas jumps him from behind unloading on him. Azriel after a short staggering phase starts battling back. For a moment they trade blows in the hallways. Then Judas suddenly kicks Azriel in the shin. This draws Azriel of and as he bends forward Judas picks him up and tries to deliver the Crucifixion. But Azriel can struggle out of it. He lands on his feet and quickly turns to strike Judas with a right hook. The hook is strong enough to stagger Judas. Azriel takes advantage and tries to deliver the Hand of God. But Judas was playing possum and spears him out of nowhere. They both crash bad into the wall. Azriel hitting his head on a fire extinguisher and Judas just bashing his head straight in the wall. The force of the impacts knocks both out instantly. The last thing we see before the camera cuts away are EMT's coming to look after them. Jackson: Brutal, wasn't it? Only in the SWA, folks. And speaking of which, let's get to our main event. A huge tag match that definitely wowed some fans. A special Main Event graphic appears then, showing Mark Ventor, Those 80’s Guys, Damien Stivers, Arik Taylor and Evan “Lightning” Montez. Clips follow. Jackson: Talk about one hell of a main event! A six man tag! On one side you had Mark Ventor with Those Eighties Guys and on the other was the team of Arik Taylor, Damien Stivers and Evan Montez. Mark and the rockin duo practically dominated in this match. While Damien did his best to fight back there seemed to be trouble in his corner as Arik seemed more interested in slapping around his team mates than those he was up against in that ring. Once Arik got straightened out a bit he was back in the game and put on a rather decent show, I think he is going to be one to keep an eye on. But in the end it was Ventor who managed to pin a frustrated Damien, picking up the win for his team and there was much celebrating in that ring and for good purpose as well. We fade after showing a shot of Ventor celebrating in the ring with Dirk and Billy as Damien looks on with frustration and anger, Arik already heading up the ramp and Evan laying somewhere off to the side and are then shown the Unplugged logo once more. Jackson: And that will do it for this week, fans, make sure to tune in next week when we’ll have even more hard hitting matches that even Andre Perez couldn’t shake a stick at. Until then, loyal fans, watch out for the midgets in your closet, check under your beds for the castigator and remember to always remain… Unplugged! Rock you Like a Hurricane plays again, and now we see both the SWA and Unplugged logos, which slowly fade out until the screen is black. |
