Lately by Strip The Image begins to play and the Edge logo appears, followed by the logos for February Revolution and finally Bloodsport. The Bloodsport logo drips away like blood until nothing remains but darkness. The Wristlock logo fades in and as normal, the TV in the background of the logo is zoomed in on and the letters begin to swirl and fade to the Wristlock studio. Tasha Graves smiles at the camera and pushes a stray strand of hair out of her face before speaking. Tasha Graves: Welcome to yet another edition of the Wednesday Wristlock. I am your host Natasha Graves…We have a lot to discuss this week but before we get started, I feel the need to address some of the things said by our oh so beloved chairman about me on his own radio show. My “attitude” you speak of came from the fact this federation was falling apart and getting pummeled by the IWF for THREE MONTHS! You didn’t think we needed rallying because we had ONE GOOD WEEK?....out of three months here folks come on. I took my stance because we needed more than just a pep talk we needed a kick in the ass. All the best the SWA had to offer jumped to the IWF and we had talent that was like “What the hell do we do? We can’t beat them.” Instead of doing what a good lieutenant or commander in an army would do which is rally the troops, you chose to hide and hope everything worked out for the best. You wanted a beaten, battered and extremely morale depleted roster to do your dirty work for you without anyone in particular leading the charge. That’s cowardly of you and I hope that you take a look at yourself and not allow this to happen again..you’re a man act like one. Now you brought up my relationship with Aquiro…well after what he did to save this company’s ass at Bloodsport I think you know he’s trustworthy. As for your radio show..this isn’t about your radio show..I think you now DO know what it’s about because I just said what it’s about. You run away from everything. You fall apart when the task appears too big..frankly you just cave under pressure and you can’t do that when you’re the rallying force behind a company. Now with that said I’ll move on. She takes a drink from her coffee mug. Tasha Graves: This week we have an awesome show for you. We have some SWA news which as B. Cool has said many times is a rare occurrence. I’m going to preview Edge and we’ll have Logan Alexander here in the studio for an interview. Tasha takes another drink from her mug as the Wristlock news logo appears on the screen behind her. Tasha Graves: As those of you that watched Bloodsport know, it was Aquiro that saved the SWA from certain doom. Ventor actually defeated our SWA champion, who simply could not get the job done. The IWF turned on Aquiro and beat him down..he’s now at a medical facility in a coma. The doctors are unsure as to how long it will take him to recover or if he will wake from his coma anytime soon. Her voice cracks a little and tears threaten to spill but she sniffles and clears her throat in an effort to regain her composure. She waits for a few moments to continue on. Tasha Graves: Crystal Cole has stated that there will be some changes and some new plans that will be announced on Edge perhaps this week or the next depending when all the wrinkles are ironed out. She takes another drink from her coffee mug. Tasha Graves: Also this week heralded the return of Ace’s show Get Over It. I believe it aired just before we did. Tasha raises an eyebrow. Tasha Graves: I’m sure everyone is happy about that…anyway moving on, we have a great Edge card this week! I’m really excited about this. The image on the screen changes from News to Edge. Tasha Graves: The first two matches starting off the night are for the Camilla Pazzini Invitational. Onyx and Raz appear on the screen along with Crystal and Sphynx. Tasha Graves: Onyx is set to take on Raz in the first match of the tournament. I have to say I’m pretty impressed with Onyx as she’s wasting no time taking shots at Raz..I can’t say I blame her either as she’s fresh off a win against Raz’s sister Ivy. If I were a betting person I’d put my money on Onyx just for sheer fire alone. Tasha Graves: Next up is what just turned out to be an explosive match. Crystal is up against Sphynx and the whole Jac Morgan thing is definitely adding fuel to this fire. Our president still seems to hold some animosity towards Sphynx for believing her husband was sorry for what he did. I almost feel bad for Sphynx she hasn’t done anything right this week and she keeps adding logs to the fire. If this match gets anymore heated, I think it might just be as brutal as the deathmatch Jac Morgan participated in. I don’t think Sphynx’s head is honestly in the game and it needs to be because Crystal’s definitely is and she has three things on her mind at this point…find, conquer and destroy. I give Crystal the win hands down. The screen changes to Grave vs. Korgoth. Tasha Graves: The Prince of Hate makes his official return this week and the first road block the SWA put in his road to Kristian Sailes is Korgoth. I’m beginning to wonder if the axe wielding Irishman will be able to handle this sadistic son of a bitch. I don’t think I could even pick a winner for this one it’s just going to be one hell of a fight. Jared Cage and Camilla Pazzini appear on the screen. Tasha Graves: Next up is an Xtreme title match. Jared Cage takes on Camilla. These two had one hell of a fight at the end of the timed battle royal at Bloodsport and I’m sure Cage is out to get some revenge. Camilla however seems one step ahead of him the whole way so we’ll see if her luck holds out. I’m giving Camilla this one. They disappear and Jerry and Kristian Sailes take their place. Tasha Graves: This match comes from an incident at Bloodsport. Sailes outright knocked Jerry out with a chair. I think Jerry deserved it personally and I think he’s gonna get more of what he deserves at Edge this week..winner predicted..Kristian Sailes. Steve Evans and Brawler appear. Tasha Graves: Now this is a main event to look out for. Brawler issued this challenge months ago and nobody stepped up until now. Steve Evans is a competitor and he was brought out of retirement by Logan Alexander. Being a former IC champion, who better to face Brawler in my opinion. I think Evans will give Brawler a run for his money. I’m actually gonna go with Evans to win this one. He’s got a lot to gain from a big win at a main event. Tasha goes to take another drink from her coffee mug but finds there’s nothing in it. She sighs and sets it down on the table, muttering something about wishing she had a never-ending coffee mug. Tasha Graves: Anyway it’s time for the interview portion of the show. Let’s bring out Logan Alexander.
Riot by Three Days Grace
plays as Logan Alexander
makes his way onto the
Wristlock set. Tasha nods
in greeting before gesturing
towards the chair that was
brought in for him. Logan Alexander: Thank you Tasha. Its a pleasure to be here. You look lovely by the way. Tasha blushes. Tasha Graves: Thank you...So apparently it's been a busy few weeks for you..if my memory serves me, we haven't seen you since your Armageddon match with Steve Evans. Logan Alexander: Yeah, you could say I have been busy if you want. But it's really more of me laying low right now. Tasha Graves: There were rumors going around that maybe Steve Evans had in fact put you on the shelf. That Armageddon match was pretty grueling and on top of that it ended in a draw. What I'm wondering and what the fans are wondering to is what exactly happened between you and Evans inside that casket? Logan Alexander: Honestly Tasha, I can't tell you. Not so much of I don't want to say, but more that I really don't know. I remember me hitting him, the door closing behind me and then all I remember was black, then cold, then waking up in a hospital. Now, how Steve managed to get back in the ring before I did...one word..Miracle. Tasha Graves: Not only that but he has accepted Brawler's challenge for the IC title that Brawler issued months ago. What are your thoughts on this and do you think you're a contender for the IC belt if Evans manages to defeat Brawler? Logan Alexander: Yeah, I heard that he accepted the challenge. Good for him. He is a former IC champion and he would do well for his return if he had another run. As far as me being a contender for the IC belt if he won, right now with my standing with the fans and upper management, no. Tasha Graves: But regardless of your standing with the fans, surely upper management has seen that you have unfinished business with Evans and that you gave him and vice versa a grueling match that pushed you both to the limits and that the fans ultimately enjoyed. Logan Alexander: That is true but there is still some friction between myself and Crystal and Brandon. Tasha Graves: And that friction is enough for you to leave your feud with Evans as a one shot deal? You came back to the SWA ..basicall brought Evans back from his storyline death and retirement to face him in one match that ended in a draw and just leave it? That seems a bit cowardly to me..more like you're afraid he'll beat you. Logan Alexander: Ms. Graves, let me put it to you this way. Steve and I go way back. Before he went military and I went pro. We had one hell of a match at February Revolution. And as far as me and him leaving our issues as a one shot deal, that won't ever sit well between the two of us. There is too much bad blood between Steve and myself to leave this in a stalemate. Tasha Graves: Then why not challenge him directly? If the champion accepts, upper management can't say anything..especially if it's something fans want. You sir of all people should know that. Logan Alexander: Heh. Ms. Graves you make a valid point. However, there are still some issues I am currently trying to take care of in my personal life that is keeping me away from the ring. But I guarantee you this, Tasha. When all the personal issues are taken care of and are out of the way, you will see Steve Evans and Logan Alexander going at it at least one more time. Tasha Graves: If I may be so bold as to pry..what past issues and personal stuff are you currently dealing with? I ask because all of this sounds like a huge copout to me. I find myself wondering if it's not your goal to end this rivalry that's heated and deeply steeped in time then what is your goals or why are you even back on that token? Logan Alexander: Tasha, let me take you back a few years. You see I'm going to reveal all the issues between Steve and myself once and for all. You see, a little known fact about Steve and myself is that we are in fact, well, brothers. That's right Tasha. Steve and myself are brothers. Steve and I share the same father but different mothers because our father was an egotistical SOB. But Steve and I have always had issues. We just have never been able to mesh and work together because there has always been one thing between us that has kept us fighting for the past 10 years. Tasha Graves: That being? Logan Alexander: Believe it or not, that one thing is none other than an outcome of a wrestling match. Tasha Graves: So why not recreate the match here in the SWA and use it to burry the hatchet? Logan Alexander: It's not that simple. Tasha when Steve and I were in high school, we ended up facing each other for the State Championship. Brother vs. brother. Each representing their own school. And you see, both of us were disqualified because there is one thing we have very dangerously in common. Tasha raises an eyebrow and waits for him to continue. Logan Alexander: We both share the drive, the want, and the will to win no matter what. And in that said match we were once again at a stalemate when I applied a submission cross face which ended up busting his nose open and it called for a time out. Steve got up and we locked eyes and then proceeded to beat the ever living hell out of each other. The end result was a double no contest decision and a banishment from the wrestling teams. And you see, that's not where it stopped. Seeing how we shared the same father, we saw a good amount of each other, and every time we were in the same room you could cut the tension with a knife. And one day at a family event, all hell broke lose and Steve and myself sent each other to the hospital after a near fatal street fight.. Tasha Graves: Well I'm sure no matter what way you decide to solve this problem, you'll solve it when you regain composure from your cowardice..I mean come back from dealing with your problems. I would think a no holds barred street fight for the SWA IC championship would be enough to put everything to rest. That is if your brother managed to win it. But you never did answer my question posted earlier. If ending this rivalry isn't your goal..then what is? Logan Alexander: I sometimes may hate my brother, he is still just that. My brother. If I had it my way, we could put all this crap behind us and be the brothers that I know we could be. The most dominant tag team ever. With our high flying styles and hit and run tactics, we could easily surpass tag team greats like the "Wild Samoans" and even "The Hardy Boyz". A no holds barred match between Steve and I would be a non stop thrill ride. But I believe you asked about the personal issues I am currently facing correct? Tasha Graves: Actually I had most recently asked you about your goals in the SWA if you're not going to end the rivalry with you and your brother. Logan Alexander: Well my goals as of right now in the SWA are simple. Return, Compete, Win..Easy and to the point. Tasha Graves: Well I wish you luck with those goals Mr. Alexander. I'm sorry that's all the time we have this week. Any closing comments you'd like to make? Logan Alexander: Only two. First to you Ms. Gaves...I know it's somewhat unprofessional to do this, but would you like to continue this interview over dinner? Strictly off the record.. She shakes her head without hesitation. Tasha Graves: I'm a taken women and I'm sure Aquiro who is in a coma after the events at Bloodsport would take exception to that as too would I. Logan Alexander: Your loss lady. Secondly to my brother, Steve Evans. When you win that IC title, you're looking at your first challenger. Oh and Steve, I'll see you this week on Edge. Oh, and believe me when I say, brother or not, hate or not, you WILL walk out of Edge with that title around your waist! Thank you Tasha. See you around. Logan gets up and walks off the set. Tasha Graves: Well that's all for this week folks..I'm Tasha Graves and he was Logan Alexander..I'll see you next week. The Wristlock music plays as the scene fades. |
